Faith Promise Missions (National)

Love Packages - Jason Jenkins

Ministry Focus:

Love Packages ships 1,500 tons of Christian literature annually all over the world. This is enough for 60 million people! Statistics reveal that every piece of literature will be read by an average of 20 people. Each container has at least 1 million pieces, so the potential is to reach 20 million people every me a container is shipped. The literature includes used/new Bibles, books, and Sunday School material. The literature is donated by people like you and then Love Packages ships huge containers to their destination. Love Packages has shipped to 141 nations! Their vision is simple: Love Packages wants to see all of our excess, the materials that are being wasted, placed on the mission fields of the world.

A box is located across from the elevator on the basement floor where you can put Christian material.

Prayer Needs

  • Thank God for what He is doing through Jason and Love Packages
  • Please pray for trusted people to ship the literature overseas and experienced workers in clearing containers abroad.
  • Please pray for continued resources to help with the costs of shipping the containers, each cost $5000.
  • Please pray for a way for Love Packages to acquire a larger space or land to build a new and larger warehouse.

Onward Auburn Campus Ministry - John Sasser

Ministry Focus:

Onward is a relatively new campus ministry which focuses on life me, gospel centered, relationships. Our focus revolves around the gospel of Christ affecting the lives of college students in a way that will transform them for a lifetime. This means that the gospel would change their lives in a way that would one day make these students be er family members, workers, church members, and  ci zens. Our strategy is to reach college students through relationships which we form through one-on-one meetings and small groups. Onward has had great success since its beginning and there is excitement about the future. Please pray for the whole Onward staff and student leadership. The Lord has been moving in Auburn through Onward!

Prayer Needs:

  • Weekly Meetings. Every Tuesday we meet in Langdon Hall to study Scripture and continue meaningful connections and conversations.
  • Small Groups and discipleship continue to be the heartbeat of the ministry. Pray that the conversations and relationships built during these meetings lead to transformation in everyday life.
  • Spring Break Trips. Pray for safety and the work of God in the lives of students who serve on our trips and those who are served in these places.
  • Students to grow through Bible studies and boldness to reach their friends with the gospel.

Camp Sumatanga - Tony Jones, Executive Director

Ministry Focus:

Camp Sumatanga serves as the camp and conference center in Gallant, Alabama. They provide programming and facilities for youth and adult retreats, summer camp, spiritual forma on and clergy training. Surrounded by the woods, mountains, lakes and streams, away from the problems and interruptions of everyday life, visitors to Sumatanga can rest their burdens, gaining inspiration from the beautiful peace of the natural setting. The 1700-acre facility stretches along the valley in St. Clair County, nestled against Chandler Mountain. The land was bought in 1948 not only for its beauty, but also for its central geographic location.  Today, though the grounds have been updated and expanded, the original purpose remains unchanged.

Prayer Needs:

Praise God for the facility and the peaceful surroundings of Camp Sumatanga.

Praise God for the lives that have been changed because of an experience at Camp Sumatanga.    Please pray for the leadership and discernment of the camp’s administration.

Please pray for youth leaders as they help young people discern God’s call in today’s world.

Restoration Ranch

Ministry Focus:

Restoration Ranch is an 8-to-10-month residential Christian Discipleship Program for people with drug, alcohol, and emotional issues. It is a faith-based ministry, which combines residential provision and spiritual growth. The gospel is presented by different pastors or other individuals, who teach the word throughout the program. There are four phases to the program, Probationary, Trainee, Resident, and Trainee Counselor.  Restoration Ranch is a non-denominational Faith-run ministry.  They do not receive any government or denominational funding.  They operate by donations, as God puts it on individual hearts to donate. There is no charge for residents to be involved in the program. It was the founder's vision that the program would be free of charge because the Gospel is free! Praise God that the program has been free of charge to the residents for over 40 years! Restoration Ranch is located in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and it has been in existence since 1985

Prayer Needs:

  • Thank God for His work through this ministry
  • Please pray that each person that enters our program will surrender their life to The Lordship of Jesus Christ and that they would be forever changed.
  • Please pray that every staff member would be led by The Holy Spirit in every decision and that God would give us wisdom for our job. Currently there are about 20 staff members.
  • Please pray that our financial needs would be met so that we can continue our ministry.
